About the designer...

 

Landscapes By Joe was started by Joe Salvato 18 years ago to meet the design needs of homeowners who were looking for a designer with a flair for creativity and style. Joe has an agricultural business degree, with an emphasis on horticulture and land planning. With his love for plants and eye for detail, he put both together to find his dream of becoming a Landscape Designer. By practicing in the Austin and central Texas area, he has gained an extensive knowledge of native plants, and plants that have been naturalized to the local area. Joe especially enjoys designing for those who wish to do their own landscape plan installation.

Additionally, Joe was an instructor at Austin Community College for over 10 years in the Horticulture and Landscape Design Community Programs department.
